Spring is officially here. These odd little flowers sprung from the succulent below finally popped. For months I've walked past this plant and wondered what the heck it was, and why in the world it was chosen for our garden. Now I understand. Happy Springtime!

  2. Those are awesome! Succulent flowers are such a gift because you never quite know what to expect. Desert blooms. Sigh.

  3. Those are amazing. It's true, you just never know with the succulents! Their blooms really are like a gift. My husband has a way with the hens and chicks ones, they proliferate like crazy throughout our yard and the hummingbirds love it when their flowery stalks shoot up.

Also, I think you're right about our neighborhood situations being very similar. I've thought that while reading some of your previous posts too :)
