Tag, and ten questions

Last week, or the week before? I was tagged by the lovely Anya and asked to answer a little set of questions, so here you have it.

How would you spend the perfect weekend?
Parked beach side at Doheny St. Beach, in the RV with beer, salsa, firewood, books and the boys.

What would your dream job be?                                                                                       Have it! But I suppose if pressed to pick an outside profession, photographer or film editor would be pretty dreamy.

If you could live anywhere in the World, where would that be and why?
Up north, in Santa Cruz because I could never part with California, and the town is quaint and cool, and the overall vibe is laid back but present, and the beaches are, well, stunning.

What is your favorite film of all time?
That's a hard one, but I'd have to go with Annie Hall. (A real classic for any self-professed "neurotic") Plus Woody Allen & Diane Keaton are a film match made in heaven.

Dog or cat person?
Um, dog? (Though, in all honesty I am not a HUGE animal person)
I like babies though.

If we were going out for the day - where would you take me?
To the Getty in L.A for lunch, then thrifting downtown. Cause that's what we do!

What defines happiness for you?
Healthy, happy boys who are tucked in warm beds at night and wake with eager hands and hearts in the morning.

What do you adore most about blogging?
Having an outlet for the artistic impulses that might otherwise fall by the waste side. Being inspired by other creative forces, and sharing all the beauty in my little suburban life with so many positive people who offer up their own life happenings.

What is your favorite quote?
"Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans" It's true. I think about it almost daily. And John Lennon, he was a smart guy...

Polka dots or stripes?
Stripes. But Polka Dots run a close second.

Thanks for the fun, Anya!

  4. Do you love the Getty? I've never been but heard such conflicting reports from my architecture buds- it's very controversial! I love Annie Hall (but I do adore Hannah and her sisters even more and have seen it so many times I may need an intervention). Thanks for sharing!

  5. M.S - I do love the Getty! I don't know nearly as much as you about architecture, and am in all honesty not a true museum hound, but the couple times I've been I was totally impressed, inspired and refreshed. It's beautiful. And certainly something I would suggest or plan for an out of towner :)

Oh, and thanks for reminding me of Hannah and her Sisters! I haven't seen it since college. Adding it to Netflix NOW.
