Craft Habits// Painted Eggs & Pine Cones

This week we put to use the tiny pine cones we've been collecting at the park during Arlo's Spring break. We painted them bright colors and strung them on embroidery floss for some cute Easter garland. The eggs we kept very simple - using good old fashioned dye drop ins, markers, crayons, and craft paint. Now, with all the holiday crafts and preparations behind us, we're looking forward to enjoying a fun-filled weekend with family. Saturday, crepes at mom's, and Sunday, a neighborhood egg hunt followed by our street brunch, and then dinner with Mike's family.

Hope all of your weekends are happy & bright too.

  1. I love your pine cone garland!!!! I used those as Christmas present toppers this last year- they're so cute!

Do you blow the eggs out or just hard boil em? I'm going to go buy a bunch tonight to color tomorrow. I always say I should start a lil earlier on this! Next year...
