Spring Sing

Arlo's Spring concert was last week and I am here to tell you that there is absolutely nothing cuter than a stage full of toothless kindergartners signing their pitchy hearts out to sweet Spring tunes supported by a handheld boom box, and awkward sign language to accompany the words they worked so hard to memorize. Seriously, I was so impressed and quite literally moved to tears - Especially by the retelling of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, which they carried off without a hitch. To top it off, we also received Mother's & Father's day gifts with little notes attached telling us all the things they admire and cherish about us as parents. Judging from just a couple of Arlo's sentiments: he thinks I look prettiest when I take him to the movies, and that his favorite thing to help his dad do is make teepees, and play baseball.

He is such a good boy and an excellent student as well. Aside from getting perfect report cards and making so many new friends, we are most proud of how enthusiastic he is at school in general. Hopefully a trait that will carry on into next year, and all those there after.
