He finished the teepees, sealed planks for the desks, had coffee, played guitar, opened a big box with a new shop vac in it that Leon (for some reason) believes is his, went to his father's house to eat bbq'd ribs, baked beans, cheese potatoes and chocolate caked washed down with his mother's signature sun tea. It was hot. He slept on a lawn chair, watched Arlo learn to swim (finally) talked to his brother's about cars, took a nap, and then came home and went to bed early.
Because typically that isn't the case. But this day was his. And he deserves more like it.
