Scenes From a Weekend // Rainy days

We spent another quiet weekend at home enjoying the rain. It isn't often that we get a real and lasting storm, so when we do we like to soak it up wholeheartedly. Eating chili, taking naps, watching movies and keeping the fire on. We did make it to a family birthday party, a baby shower Saturday and Mike played the NAMM show Sunday where he also sold some of his guitars at the vintage show. But other than that, we spent a lot of time in pajamas with a few new *Netlfix picks to keep us warm.

  1. Your weekend snapshots are just wonderful! I especially love the photo of your boy climbing up on the high-chair and unto the wall. Boys!!

Portlandia is the best!! Have you seen the new season yet? It's hilarious. Been DVR-ing it and I just can't get enough of it.

    1. no! I'm just now finishing the second season on netflix, but IT KILLS me. Hilarious.

And revenge feels a bit campy, but I've been sucked in and am using it as a late night laundry treat :)

  4. We loved the rain this weekend too! I have those same leggings from Target that I bought for Hooper... they only had size 3T left so I'm anxiously waiting for him to grow into them. They're so cute. Arlo looks rockin' in them. Lovely images :) Waiting for the rain to return... so relaxing. We all took long naps too.

  5. LOVE! My faves: sweet son wrapped in blanket next to banjo, camouflaged dog, rain through the window, and antlers/books/moccasins. Seriously love your pics here and on IG. Love how you also keep it real. I know there are dirty dishes and and fighting brothers behind the scenes, but it's all just beautiful.
