These days I'm a bit reluctant to post any home inspirations here. After all, Pinterest provides that in overdrive, right? For me, I can only take so much "pinning" - and honestly, for one reason or another, I've yet to be sucked in completely like plenty of friends.

However, this particular clip of this house I stumbled across a few weeks ago I just cannot get away from. I keep asking what it is that makes this stand out, against a hundred pretty homes, and all I can gather is that it's something to do the white arch way, the textured striped rug and that dark print above the counter. The shelves are great, obviously, and the cat too - I'm not a cat person- but even the cat I find appealing here.

Anyway, thought I would share.

  1. I love how anti-gutted it looks. I saw a bumper sticker that said, gut fish, not houses, and I laughed.

  3. It's hard to name just one fantastic thing about this space. It's warm, yet bright and looks like the air is clear and the energy peaceful. I want to live there, too! ...maybe minus the kitty...

  4. So beautiful! I love archways too, and the white walls make it so appealing. I just painted our kitchen walls and cabinets white, and it has made such a difference in the light throughout the day. Also, you can never go wrong with plants!
