Said Louisa May Alcott

“The power of finding beauty in the humblest things makes home happy and life lovely.”

― Louisa May Alcott

On A Monday:

Bedside seagull feather
A clean bathroom and a long nap.

  1. Restoration Hardware's Luxury Plush Robes! We keep our heat low and this has been a life saver (on some nights I would venture to say literally). Added bonus, it gets softer with every wash! Also, their plush throws are great gifts for visiting guests...just as cozy, and reasonably priced (they usually drop in price right before Christmas).

  2. I just love your eye for simplicity and calmness. its actually taught me a lot in my own home. i used to decorate how I thought others would appreciate, if that makes sense. i am slowely getting my home to apoint that reflects me and who I am. thanks for the inspiration.

    1. thank you, shannon. that's a great complement - especially because I still feel like I struggle with the same thing - sticking to decor that reflects me, and my tastes and not solely what the pages of instagram or pinterest tell me is 'current' or cool. It's so easy to get caught up in all of that. And the funny thing is all the photos of the homes all start to look the same at some point. Pinterest still baffles me. I try it embrace it, but I just find it silly. . .

Anyway, thanks for writing. hope all is well around your home!

  3. a clean bathroom is always good! so is a nap these days :)
