Thanksgiving Of Our Own

Just the six of us.
Camping on the beach.
Trader joe's boxed turkey breast, mashed potatoes and corn to fill our plates. Warm weather, hot coffee, and a blazing fire at night followed by one long day on the sand building huts and collecting rocks to paint.

Might definitely be "new tradition" worthy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. The way you capture life around you is just incredible! We don't celebrate Thanksgiving (in New Zealand) but I sure like the idea of spending time with friends and family, and reflecting on all that you're grateful for... so Happy Thanksgiving :). x

  2. I might adopt a similar tradition. As much as I like being with friends and family, I think the idea of a quiet weekend away with just my immediate clan might be a great tradition to throw into the mix. Happiest Thanksgiving.

  5. Love, Love, Love this idea and the pics of that airstream -- amazing. The last two Thanksgivings we have traveled out of town - Ft Meyers Beach last year and New Orleans this year. Both were amazing times. We have loved it so much I don't think we will be having Thanksgiving at home for a long time to come.

    Happy Holidays.
